hey i was thanking of geting one and i want to know if they are a good standion truck whats the good and bad and how fast they go stock and how fast they go mod. thanks for your help curtis

Stock about 10 mph. Modded about 20 or more. I would wait for the Trinity or Associated RC18 to come out.

Very fun truck..I dont know if youve read articles on them or not but the best thing to do is get some shocks for it right away!..I put a little baja motor and a rechargable 6 battery pack in it and a had a blast! Very fun stuff..I havent heard about the associated rc18 so maybe it would be good to wait for now..=)

I have one too, lots of fun indoors or out.personally one bad thing about it (I think) are the electronics,I don't like the combined ESC/reciever,or the special 4 wire servo that's used with it.it definately could use an upgrade on the electronics side.I think it should have come stock with oil shocks and bearings too, that was another dissapointment.one definate good thing about it is that new hop ups are coming out almost daily, the possibilities for customizing it is great.
personally,I'm thinking of replacing mine with the duratrax mini quake.it looks like an awesome little monster for indoors,it comes with oil shocks, bearings, all the electronics (including a seperate esc/reciever,a futaba radio on 75mhz,a 7.2V battery pack, standard size servo, and a 380 motor),and probably best of all a 1 year stress tech guarentee. :) they even throw in the batteries for the radio, this thing is about as RTR as you can get.I'm gonna have my LHS put one on backorder for me today :eyes:

I have one, it's too boring for me at the moment, so I'm selling it. If you have the $ to keep hopping it up (unlike me) it will definatly be a blast.

you may wanna hold off on your decision for a bit, with all the new trucks coming out (mini quake, trinity's spider, the AE mini truck) it maybe worth waiting till you see what these will be like.

hey the mini quake it can't be any good because it is made by duratrash lol but i never seen ae mini truck is it a staudium truck thats what I'm looking for. curtis

I like the looks of the mini quake the best of them all,I'm one of the people who actually like duartrax so I'm sure I'll be getting one.although I gotta admit the venom mini-giant is available right now so I'm fighting the temptation to get one of those also.the associated truck is a 4-wd stadium truck, here's a link for it.....AE RC18T

Lol, you're not alone, I like duratrax too, I have a evader ST EP, and I'm pretty pleased w/ it in terms of durablility, ESPECIALLY compared to my xxx-nt.

And, I would definatly not get the mini spyder, here's a thread on another forum and we discuss all the problems and why no one on the forum plans to get one. http://www.minitforum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=582

Got one all mod out screamin fast so far unbeatable @ the lt

I love mine. It's a very trust worthy truck. I just ordered my Mamba Brushless and alot of other hop-ups like Ball Diffs CVD's ALuminum Chassis Etc. I can't wait for these to come!

just thought i ask dose anyone want to trade hop-ups for a lot of n scale trains i have pics curtis

pm me thanks

out of all those that canadian mgt listed i think the itsy bitsy spyder is the coolest thats just my openion though. Its only 150$ at stormer and it comes w/ battery charger the only thing you need are some batterys for the transmiter. I may have to try and convince my parentals to let me get it.

pretty fun little truck. I use mine mostly around the house.. chasin the dog n stuff lol. I agree with upgrading the electronics. I'm not really sure what kinda motor is in mine, I bought it from Jon2 here in the forum. I just put in a Novak FM receiver, LRP A.I. ESC, and Hitec HS-55 steering servo. I use my 3PK to run it now... shocks are definatley next... but that can wait untill I start takin it outside. There seems to be a lot of hop ups out there so if you're into personalizing I would say it's a pretty good investment

now i have 2 i like them i have a lot of fun chaseing my dog and i race them on my track it has a few hop-ups curtis

I just picked one up and I like it, I changed out the wireing and the connectors it came with because they were crap. I just ordered the bearings for it and some new gears too, I was going to get rid of it after I got it but I think I'll keep it and see what I can do with it. Seen I have some left over carbonfiber I'm going to make my own front shock towers and what ever else I can come up with. But all in all a pretty damn cool little truck.

I've been considering selling my micro RS4 in order to buy a mini-T. They seem to be a lot more popular, and versatile...but I didn't like the electronics in it. Yesterday, I got my new magazine and saw the Associated 18t...looks like it's based on the TC3 chassis, only smaller....I think I'll wait for some reviews and peoples' comments on it. It should be as popular as the Losi truck, maybe more.
