hi guys, new to forum. hope to learn a lot from you

its been 30packs since i own my mini t 2.0 now the right side is spinning more faster than the left and the vechicle keeps going to the right side and can't keep it in a straight line

i didnt over tighten the hex nuts, i have checked it multiple times. should i open the diff and lube or grease it? if yes then which one should i get from the below ones?

grease : https://brmchemicals.com/products/silicone-grease?_pos=4&_sid=0cc417963&_ss=r
oil 60k or 300k : https://brmchemicals.com/products/silicone-oil-60k-cst?_pos=2&_sid=0cc417963&_ss=r

thanks for the help

Agreed with TNT, check the bearings.

Note that the diff is not sealed so you can only use grease and not tuneable oils. I use Mobil one or Lucas oil red n tacky grease in mine. It's been over a year since a rebuilt it and since it's open, it likes to leak so idk how much grease is still in there.

As for not keeping the car in a straight line, seems normal if your using a stock servo and servo saver.
I upgraded to the Losi aluminum horn after that on my mini b and never had any issues, tho if you use the aluminum horn from losi and run into something, say bye bye to your servo. Burnt up the stock spektrum sx107 and a ecopower 827 servo with that. I now use a savox micro servo and a hot racing aluminum servo saver and never had any issues. Plenty of speed and torque and stays in a straight line.

This is essentially what I use but it's branded under Mobil one and got it from AMain. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p...YRfPxk4Ei9mNk2lwQVxoC2L8QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Small RC's are really affected by dirt and debris getting in the drivetrain components. Tear it down and clean everything and check bearings.

Oh, and welcome to the forum! Head over to the Introduce Yourself forum and say hi 😉

@DavidB1126 hi, sorry to ping so multiple times. coud you please help me with above issue :stick:.

Oops, just saw this

Hmm. Weird. Never actually went into my transmission or diff before on my car so I'm not sure.
Maybe try some wd40 to try to get it to loosen up?

Never had any issues with mine with one side spinning faster than the other. My usual case is that I tighten the wheel nuts to tight and usually fixes it for me.

I'm stuck too. Maybe Losi customer support can help, but after Christmas,
Or maybe someone on one of the Losi Mini Groups could help

On Facebook.
Losi Mini Group
Losi Mini T and B
There's a lot of groups
Reddit RC car groups might be helpful but highly doubt it
Losi customer service might be the best.
Or unless someone chimes in and might have something to say

Pretty sure it doesn't come apart. You buy it as a set. That'll give the part no. to search elsewhere as well. Hope that helps.

Edit: If you click on the part you are holding it links all of it.

someone on discord posted this image and said it will come apart
It was probably just a bad bearing. I'd try the replacement first. If it does it again, then look at different solutions.
does this comes under warranty? as its only been 40days since my purchase?

Are there any screws holding the diff cups on? It was put together. It will come apart, somehow. If there are no screws, then it must be press fit components.

it is defnitly press fitted but i dont know how to seperate them, its stuck so hard, its peeling my flesh off the fingers while trying to seperate them

i have applied something similar to red n tacky, its sems tight after rebuilding the diff, meaning the tire are not rotating that freely, i didnt fill it up to the brim. just applied in the gears all round

also when i place the car on the floor, one of the front tire is not touching the ground. can u guess whats the issue here?

Well you just kind of sat the car down, you didn't compress the suspension so I'm guessing its because of that. Not to mention the shocks have alot of preload it looks like so the suspension might be more springy than actual dampening from the shock.
