losi mini crawler

Just won one on e bay new in box for $114.00. It is the bnd, is there any suggestions for any mods to be done first. What about the duratrax gatekeeper chassis, or a brushless set up. Somebody help me, this is my first crawler other than a micro crawler.

Lots of stuff to do to them. Id start with metal lockers though, the stock plastics rip out fast. Then aluminum knuckles and c's....

totally, the stockers are glued and suck bad.

The aluminum after market shocks are a big improvement as well.

Thanks for the ideas fellas. I think i will go with beadlocks and tires, alluminum threaded shocks. Any suggestions for wheels and tires, i really dont want to spend $100 on a set of wheels and tires.

axial bead locks work good, and are cheap, thats what I ran on mine.

The shocks for a 1/18 Losi Late model are nice. Deffinetly replace the tires first and lockers.

What about the foams, i see there is memory foam, blue,red ect...

Id just try them out with the foams that come with them. Memory foams suck depending on wear you live because they are very tempature sensitive.

I ran memory foam in the front and regular stock foam in the rear and unless it gets below 50* they work good.
