Hey guys, first post here. I have a 1/10th scale Losi Baja Rey. I have run this truck twice and both times one of my rear shock rod end or ball end, which ever you want to call it, keeps stripping off the shock shaft. I have replaced the stock one with a new plastic one from Losi and it happened again. What can I do to fix this? Is this a common thing? I could not find an aluminum one to upgrade with. Please help.
Thanks.

So the ball comes out?? I always use aluminum shocks with aluminum shock ends. It’s better durability and makes for cleaner look.

Not the ball but the rod pulls out of the rod end that threads to the shaft.

Blue loc tight don’t do red
You using locking nuts? They can wear out
ok you have to send me pics this is little different to me
So the shaft of the body the cylinder shock cylinder pulls out?

This end here is what is stripping of of the thread end of the shock shaft. I have gone through 2 of these. When I hit a jump, the shock pulls itself apart on full extension.

Ok 👍 what you need to do is limit straps. If ur jumping it and the shock goes over extended yup it will rip guts out.

You just have to figure Eye to eye hole wise full extension.
This what you need

You would think that the factory build would of considered that would of been needed. I'm not seeing anyone else with this problem though. Seems a few people are using the UDR shocks for the rear.
