I was looking into parts for the TT pro and discovered when looking at the Losi website that the TT pro has been discontinued. Not sure when this happened, guessing it's pretty recent based on the availability of new ones around the interwebs. I am curious why, that seemed to be Losi's only true SCT left.
I wonder if a new version is coming.

None of the Mojave's are SCT10s I guess Arma still has Senton, so Horizon has something in the SCT10 class.
I am just surprised Losi would leave the SCT10 market mostly to the Traxxas slash. Which I have read and heard it said that the Slash was the all time record holder for sales, I think the Slash is still Traxxas's number one seller even now.

Hopefully this just means a TT pro 2.0 is coming soon, as Suburban Hooligan suggested might be the case..

Horizon almost had me with their on-road GROM.
If we're lucky, it could mean that Losi is working on a new TLR TEN platform, which would also bring a new TENACITY. (And also a SCTE 4.0)
That would be epic!

I am thinking if there is a 2.0 on the way, I am betting we see some sort of clip less body on the 2.0.
I think that feature has been a big hit for Traxxas .

Maybe something like the Grom uses?

Yea, I suppose that could be seen as a down side to Losi going clip less if that is the what Losi is doing.
With the Traxxas clip less it’s not really any big deal to swap body mounts back to clip style of choice, the shock towers are the same for both.
A lot of the custom / aftermarket bodies that I like force me to install adjustable body mounts anyway, it’s not really a big deal if I have to change those mounts anyway .

Which I did have to do just that on the TT pro I was working on over weekend.
Had to pull the stock clip style off and install these.

Not sure what the Arrma Senton clip less is like, I just know the latest Senton SCTs are clip-less, so I would expect if the TT pro is coming back as a newly updated version it would likely end up getting clipper less as well.

Clipless bodies are for RTR. Losi would be stupid to go that route, especially with their race grade stuff. Nobody would go for it.
Well , seems more bad news for fans of the Losi kits.
I think everything in the current Losi lineup is now RTR only .
I hadn’t seen a Losi roller kit in while, so I looked it up just to see what they offered in kit firm, seems nothing left but RTR.

The only kits Horizon does is anything under TLR/ race Losi. Even though the only cars they have RN is only the 22X and 22XT. I think they still have some 1/8 kits but those are years out of date now and anything older is all discontinued. All their issues leads back to whorizon

They killed everything besides Arrma and Spektrum. Which is ideally the only main brands they wanna focus on.
They haven't killed Proboat yet! All spektrum electronics in those too

True that too. But in the surface/car/truck area. Boats and air stuff is a different market/area, ish. To me at least.
I agree, it isn't a different market, but it really is.

Is losi even a racing brand anymore?
I believe they gutted there racing team.
Only RTRs and 'scale' looking trucks

self admittedly a little bitter as I really want a tt pro.

The TT pro getting discounted is pretty recent.
There still a lot of new ones in stock.
Local hobby shop had 2 in stock still at the $500 list price.

I bought 2 of mine on EBay for around 350-380 new in the box.
So there is some pretty decent deals out there on them if your wanting one.

I do think there is likely a 2.0 coming, not sure what to expect from a 2.0, most likely a clip-less body.
New body designs, not sure Whst they would change mechanically on them. Better mounting of the receiver module would be nice.
The double sided tape isn’t cutting it. Lol. Least wise the tape they are using is not holding it in place.

Other than that I am pretty happy with the overall design of the TT pro.

It’s a good value especially if you can find one in the mid to upper $300 price point.
