Determining your chassis wheelbase and width, then matching those with a body will give you the best chance of finding a good fit.

I love the ppl at teambluegroove.com for this!

After you know the dimensuins, check out their site or you can contact them directly for more info on bodies you like, fitment...

I used a proline Camaro drag on mine, I had to change out some body mounts and bumpers to the drag stuff. Anything that fits a slash will fit the 22s sct.

A trailboss for a slash. Any sct body will fit with minimal work.

They certainly have some very most excellent Lexan. They don't do anything larger than 1/10th scale, and 1/10th scale short course trucks being the same wheelbase as a 1/8th scale buggy... :( Late model bodies will be even longer.

I tried to nudge them into doing some SCT bodies, as I have a very well-liked body "NIB" that I'd like to share with others looking for one. They kindly said no.

Wow! I thought they did truck bodies too but I recall you mentioned this once before now.

I am not an SCT person so I dropped that ball entirely!!!

Sorry folks!!! Carry on!!! 🤷‍♀️😁🤣

Sorry, I wasn’t more thorough in my answer earlier. You’re looking for a 1:8 Latemodel body. I’m not sure you’ll find that on McAllister or Customworks. I know that Shark bodies has a great selection of them and they are identified as “fits Slash” they will fit your truck. Keep in mind, custom mounting and bumper solutions are normally required for these huge bodies as well.

There’s also the much easier route of just buying the Traxxas latemodel body. You’ll just have to get creative with mounting.

This is my latemodel Slash from a couple years back which ran a 1:8 body from Amazon which was awesome and only cost $40. It just doesn’t seem to exist any longer. The pic shows how huge the SCT oval bodies are. It’s shocking the first time you open one up for paint lol.

I always wanted a SharkBodies BAMF but couldn’t justify the cost.

After you're thru racing, you can flip it over and take a bath in it!!! 🤣

Holy HUGE!!! 🤯

I found the Amazon body! but unfortunately, they do not make it any longer: RJ Speed Max Wedge

They do, however, still make this one RJ Speed Mega Wedge

I only recommend these bodies because I know they're a bit forgiving on the dimensions and they make it a bit easier to universally fit. A track buddy of mine actually ran the Mega Wedge on his Losi SCT truck. They're also strong as hell.
