Not sure how well this will work out for me but picked up a lrp 30x comp engine really cheap would like to know how others feel about this motor.

LRP makes a good engine. A little more difficult to find replacement parts than OS, Picco and other more popular brands, though. I run a ZR.32 in my OFNA Ultra LX Comp, I'm very happy with it.

It's ok - depends on what you are going to use it for . . . . Bit heavy on the juice for racing, enough power for bashing . . . if you picked it up cheap, who cares!? Give it a go, if you like it, keep it, if you don't like it, put it away for a rainy day, or sell it for what you paid for it and try something different.

The one thing I have learned however is 'don't buy secondhand engines'! People don't sell great engines, they sell wornout engines! If you have bought a cheap motor, chances are it has past its expiry date and it will give you nothing but trouble.

Better to save a little more, and buy your engine new, so you know how it has been run in, cared for, know it has compression, know how much fuel has gone through it and know how much life it has in it.

I wish for you that you picked up a bargain and that it's a great engine for you.

The motor is brand spankin new lol. I got from my lhs actually 2 of them. One is a 30 spec 2 that will be going into a savage and then I got a picco 28 boost that will be going into a modded savage xl. Oh yeah the picco will be going to get modded to lol
