the Mystery packs from hong kong are very good packs, as well as zippy packs, can't go wrong with either, I've had better luck with both of those brands then most "big name" brands of lipo's and save SO much money too.

Lloyd: You are gonna shoot me! I am vacillating back the other way. Someone put me outta my misery!!! To Losi or to RTC. Man, I can not make up my mind. *Runs from Lloyds reach*

can't tell you what to get Cody, but the losi will out perform the rtc for sure. the rtc is exaclty that though, ready to crawl....or BUY SOME BERG AXLES!!!! lol

go with the losi man- and if you want to try one just go to a local comp and someone might let you play with theirs for a minute or two, i would but we live in to different places. then make your decide if you want one, if you do buy the losi, the quality stock is going to be better

yeah that thing is clean and has alot of nice upgrades, especially the EEM skid and body mounts! and last i seen it was still way low!!!

I want to bid on it--it was at a little over $150 with $30 to ship. It has everything I would buy for a kit!

BTW--Would you guys say boo to the Novac Rooster ESC and motor?

yes, booo! rooster only does 2s and isnt even remotely as...adjustable-as the castle stuff.

Cody the final choice is up to you, and since you have not had a crawler before I think you would have fun with either one, if you do go with the RTC just do the simple mods on the link I gave you before and I think you will have plenty of fun with it, if you end up getting into it hard core then you could always sale the RTC and get the Losi.

And by the way $100 for a sidewinder is a rip off, you can pick them up on a regular basis for about $70-75, so unless it comes with a Castle Link which you will need to take advantage of all the features and program it properly for crawling I would look around a little more for a better price, I'd also definitely recommend getting the Castle BEC if you are going to get a Castle ESC.

I just saw a Sidewinder "Get it Now" for $69 on the fleabay!

Dude, you would think that I would have my mind made up by now! I just keep going back and forth. It is half an expense thing (work is SLOW, and my paychecks are about 1/2 what they were six months ago) and half a terrain thing.

You know what a big Losi fan I am, and the 1/10 roller is bad ass...

The AX10 RTC is more in tune with what a starter rig should be...

Someone put me outta my misery!!!

dude theirs a good chance you will get a crawler and just not really like it, tons of people do, so if you went with the rtc you might not need to mod it at all cuz you might not like it....it being crawling in general.

That is true, Lloyd. Truth be told that is why I am hesitant to invest big bucks till I am sure I will like it. That is why I think the RTC is the best bet for me, despite it's shortcomings.

Cody I say just go get the RTC and call it a day...:D

Just buy an SCX10 and be done with it. It's a great performer right out of the box and should handle the terrain you posted up pretty well. It looks good (with a new body) comes with HD lockers, and you can step it up to 2.2 tires for even more performance if necessary. Just one more thing to consider :D
