I am looking in to getting into rock crawling and was wondering if they were a lot of work to keep running. and are the parts heard to break. I have some nitro trucks and cars that just eat money out of my pocket. Was just looking into getting a rock crawler. also is an axial ax10 a good one to start with.

yes the ax10 is a very good one to start off with and theres 4 to chose from, the ax10 kit, rtr, artr and the rtc. the new losi just came out too wich is a great rig.

for the most part its gonna be like any other rc, you will break parts, the harder you are on it the faster you will break parts but generally the parts are pretty cheap to replace and you will prolly upgrade at that point to something thats not gonna break.

And once you have broken the parts tend to break you will have a solid rig that you can pretty much just charge and drive with some minor regular maitenance, like putting new greese on your gears and dig if you get one, making sure every thing is tight, and cleaning your motor. But over all IMO the AX10 rigs are the best entry level crawlers.

i with them, the ax10 is a good rig!! but you will spend more change on upgrades then you will broken parts. once you start, you just can't stop!

start with the ax-10 artr and go from there. They are solid trucks and i break far less on my crawlers than i did on my nitro rigs.

i like the ARTR, but like the kit better, i like to build...... even though the ARTR comes with bent links......... but you can get them for cheap as hell.

i agree but i don't know what his experience level or age is. can't go wrong with either
