Looking to get into the 1/8 Truggies or maybe a buggy. What are the pros and cons between the buggy VS truggy...
and what are everyones experiances with the Mugen and the RC8...I have an old school RC10 Buggy (old gold frame style) and I had it as a kid...loved it and it was tough as nails!...now it sits on a self...maybe i'll break her outta retirment with some new go fast goodies someday...anyway...
what does everyone think?

Buggies are great for racing, but so are truggies, and truggies also make great bashers. I have 3 racing buggies, 2 Mugen MBX5R's and a Hyper 8. I think Mugen are the best buggies, but everyone has their own opinion.
There are a plethora of great truggies out there, I like the CRT models, (hong nor) and the MBX5T. I am also a fan of the CEN TR Arena and the Thunder Tiger ST1.

cool...wich do you think buggy vs truggy would be best to start to get into racing a 1/8 scale?

I think for racing/bashing I would go with the truggy. The truggies are getting more popular for racing. I'm waiting for the release of the RC8T for my first truggy.

yeah. i kinda like the truggies a lil' more anyway. I'm a pick up man...drive a Cummins just always had a truck lol..i like the buggy....
but for bashing i have a track ready T-maxx i'll prob just use that. it's a lil' cheeper to fix in the long run...i'm pertty sure anyway.
