Looking for some parts

My friends:
In about a week I'll finish up finals for the semester and am looking for a project. (I know what you're thinking. "What about that tv stand?" The tv stand just needs an application of clear coat then its done.Will post pics when finished)
Someone gave me a gokart motor. I couldnt decide what I wanted to do with it. But eventually after brainstorming and lots of drawings on my homework, I have made my decision. GYROCOPTER!!!!
I realize its really dangerous and thats what prompted me to write this thread.
I want to put together a smaller rc one and really understand how it works.
I know there are kits available but get a certain satisfaction when I build things myself.
From the RC community, I'm looking for a motor, 3 pico or sub micro servos, a speed controller, battery, and remote control. (And encouragement)

Rc universe has a section w/gyrocopters check it out might give you some ideas.For equipment check the for sale section of this site or some aircraft forums.Good luck
