Oh yea, I'll hafta see if I can find my CA, I may hafta order some more, its been a while since I last used it haha. I've never glued brake pads the the calipers before and I've never had a problem either.

Yup those are the codes I got, thanks for posting them up robmob.

Update if anyone cares, I've got the front end build, and if anyone is still wondering the kit did come with Proline Crimefighters in the box. So far I am very impressed with the kit, this is the first Mugen kit I have built.

I was very interested in the kit untill I saw the pictures of the parts trees. They looked like the models I used to build and of very low quality. What did those of you find when you got your parts? How is the quality?

Mugen is tops in quality. Only one better IMO is Xray. You'll find most parts for most kits come on trees. I've been running the 5T since November and there is no question in the quality of any part on the Mugen. I also run a 5R.

Question I have for everyone here... Is the 5T and the 5R like the Jammin's in that they like to be driven hard? The harder you drive them the faster you will be to a point? I just dumped my Losi 8ight... couldn't stand the fact I had to drive it so carefully to go fast. I loved how my Jammin FTE handled, I could drive it hard and it rewarded me. So are the Mugen's the same in that aspect?

Please advice. I've never onwed anything Mugen.... but just about every other brand out there for 1/8 buggies.

Yes they can be driven hard, I drive pretty aggressive, lots of throttle, little brake. In deep tap the brake and mat it again. I'm fighting a setup with my 5R but even though I don't have it to my liking yet I can still push it pretty hard. Check out R/C Car mag, they just did a shootout with the Mugen, Kyosho, and Losi.

Thanks Jetmech. I'm 1 click away from ordering up the MBX5T, going to wait for the RC8 this spring to race buggy.

Thanks again.

Ya saw the pics of the Odonnell buggy... just bet it is going to be lots of $$$$. I will just wait and see. I don't think I can go wrong with the MBX5T right now to hold me over, from everything I have read and talked to people about it is one nice handling tough well built truck. Just trying to find the cheapest place avaliable to buy it.

Cool, have fun with it, it's a fun build. Might I suggest a couple things. Get the captured hinge pins and the one piece motor mount to start with from the prospec kit. You can usually eBay them cheap.

Shucks... I would have sold you my 1 piece motor mount that came with the Prospec. Oh well..... can't wait to get mine!!!!

generalg, how much you want for it?

dad, the standard kit hinge pins are held in place with e-clips. The prospec captured hinge pins have a lock nut.

I'd let the mono engine mount go for $25 shipped. LMK. Should be recieving the MBX5T Prospec by the end of this week.
