Went to a local gravel pit with my daughters and my buddy.

I had my Volcano 16, my youngest had her Slash 2wd and my buddy brought his X Maxx

I was busy playing but my oldest got some pics and videos (she doesn't really do the rc thing, but we're working on how her to be our media person lol)

I think she only got the X Maxx in action

That thing is amazing!

The pics and vids don't really do it justice

Can't figure out how to get the vids posted, her are a few pics

Vids get posted to rumble.com or other video hosting sites, then the links get posted here.

Very cool that you have a whole crew working for you already and you're only just getting started!🤣

I love that you're getting the kids involved. Even better that you got the one who isn't into RC, into RC! 😍👍😁

Thanks for letting me know how to post the videos.

To give you perspective on how bog those mounds are he's jumping with the XMaxx, he's probably about 5'8" and you see how small he looks standing on it.

It is a pretty cool place to run. Lots of open areas for speed. Not a lot of of things to jump for smaller rigs. While we were there someone walking their dog told us there's a whole other side that might have some stuff to jump. We didn't check that out as it was pretty chilly and my oldest and and her friend (my buddy's sister) were getting cold.

It's definitely a family thing for us. My wife couldn't care less and really doesn't want anythign to do with it, but she doesn't have a problem with it. She encouraged me to get my first rig (an SCX24) bout me another 2 for Christmas (another 24 and a 30) and bought me, completely on her own idea, a 3D printer....knowing full well when I get into something I get into it.

My youngest really enjoys the cars. She has a 24, a 30 and the Slash. She's like me, likes pretty much anythign with a motor and wheels. My oldest doesn't care about RC, but she just likes hanging out, and she does like photography and videography...we're hoping to get her to really get into that for us. My buddy actually has a pretty nice drone with picture and video so he brought it and is starting to teach her how to use it. Could be a fun summer :)

That's awesome!! Looks like you had a good time.

Isn't it the best when someone shares a new or cool spot with you?
I was chatting with a fellow RC'er recently, I talked about a spot close-ish to my house, he then revealed there is one much, much closer. 🤯

That is awesome

I was pretty happy to learn about this spot

It's about 10 minutes from my house

Now I'm trying to find some crawler spots

My buddy knows a few but they're over on the other side of town
The one is probably a half hour or so away
