Looking for new 1/8th scale nitro

I'm looking to buy a new 1/8th Nitro. I found an exceed mad warrior race edition for 295 with everything except fuel. is this a good start car or what are your suggestions. My budget is around 300 for everything except fuel. all I'll be doing is driving around the back yard and doing some jumps

if you could pitch in another 70 bucks you could get a mgt 4.6 that it way better. I had an exceed rc truck and it was nothing but problems

I heard their 1/10ths were bad but their 1/8ths were good.
A Kyosho Inferno NEO is 299, are those good?

I read that the inferno is a good starter buggy if you are looking to get into racing on the cheap.
