Hi I'm new to this forum. My sons are sharing a team losi aftershock and we can't decide on going with the losi muggy or the t-maxx. I heard the muggy had or has a clutch problem that's fixable. Also, I can use my parts for both trucks if I stick with losi. But my one son wants the T-Maxx. Is the maxx as reliable and as easy to repair?

I have never owned a Losi but I do have had 2 T Maxx's.The newest version of the TMAxx seams to have been improved but the design has some weak points and is getting very dated.I currently own 4 Revos and would recommend a Revo over a TMAxx 100%.It can do everthing the max can do but 10x better and is much more durable.

truck shopping

Thanks for the info you must think or know the Revo is worthy of buying if you have 4. Do you have a good street price for picking one up.

I went out for a good bike ride with my son. We hit 4 hobby shops all carried the revo .It looks like a super piece of engineering . Anyway the bast price I could get was $500 out the door cash only.I think this the truck. thinks :)

check out my thread ... i am selling a savage with all kinds of hop ups for $400 shipped

If the bashability of the aftershock is what you like, then I'd go for a savage. Tough as nails and can handle pretty much any amount of abuse.

If you like the handling of the aftershock, but aren't real big on huge air, then the revo is a great rig. It has a few weaknesses I didn't care for. I just upgraded my aftershock to take a beating and got rid of both the revo and savage.

We went back to the cheeps hobby shop today and ordered the Revo. $500 OTD.
