  1. Bashing
So I am actually looking at getting a decent radio to link all of my toys. I have three vehicles right now. I am not a racer and I am more of a casual basher. I have looked at quite a few transmitters just can't seem to find one that catches my eye. I am looking at the spektrum ones I love the digital display. I need to get a radio that can adjust steering trim throtlle trip and such. The traxxas links are nice but I hate having to open a manual every tine to adjust something. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Also I run a Tmaxx 3.3, nitro rustler and recently got a old xtm x force. So I'm sure I'll stay in the 3 channel category

can't go wrong with the spectrum. Dont even consider the traxxas radio, other than range and a cleaner signal than AM... it sucks. another benefit to the spectrum is it is high voltage capable.

Yeah but what model is what I can figure out. There's so many.

Any of the DX-3 models would work. The DX-3s has been discontinued and was replaced by the DX-4s so you might be able to find a good deal on one NIB.

I actually like the Traxxas TQI with docking base:shrug:. I picked 1 up for cheap just because I had an IPhone and wanted to try it out.
If you don’t have an I devise to dock with it, it is very user unfriendly though and I wouldn’t use/have it but with an I devise I find it very easy to setup and use. I have had “0” issues out of it and the range is further than I can see to drive. The only thing lacking imo is a failsafe that would apply brakes rather than just return the throttle to idle.

I have a DX3s and a Flysky. I have 0 problems with either. I might pick up one of the new Flyskys with telemetry if they ever come back in stock.

I've been using the Flysky gt3c and have had zero problems out of it and extra receivers for $7 Is a great bargain.

If your looking for something cheap but decent then Id say look at the Flysky GT3B. If you have a couple hundred bucks to throw at a really nice TX then Id say look at a Futaba 4PL.

The flysky looks amazing I still don't know what to think I was looking a lot at the reviews and I may just go with a fs-it4 looks a lot nicer and my street car gets up to 70+ mph nitro so I am guessing the telemetry will help with keeping running correctly. I am definitely getting a fly sky radio. Gonna see how long till they restock the it4. Thanks for the input never heard of flysky till you all recommended it.

I agree with 4pl but your just a basher they flysky will do you just fine and being able to get recievers for 7 bucks instead of 50 is a huge plus to me

Telemetry is junk...its not very accurate in a lot of cases.....especially for speed. The IT4 is just eye candy IMO. If you have $150 to throw at a TX then slap another $50 with it and get the Futaba 4PL as I and several other have mentioned previously. The GT3B and GT3C are great basher radios for people on a tight budget but if you have the coin the 4PL trumps the Flyskys hands down. I have a GT3B and a 4PL.

The killer with spektrum and futaba is the price of the receivers you really can't beat 7-10 bucks for fly sky I am really looking at the price. And from all the reviews I don't think I can go wrong keep in mine I have three cars that will all need receivers so with futaba thats another 100+ just in receivers

i have two flyskys and have never had a problem. if you are looking for price alot of ajustments and digital screen flysky is the way to go for a basher on a budget.

Ordered the gt3b and two receivers cost me 61 dollars best deal IMO. I'll let you all know what I think
