Nah ,its good ,probably loading up when sitting an idling ,but it being a little rich is a good thing ,maybe
be able to buy those F1 formula tires to replace the bad ones ,might fit but not sure ,a worth checking
them out!..

I am struggling with find right tires to be honest, I was looking at Tamiya F103 tire and rims set, but they are not the right hex size.
I cannot find the dimensions for F103 tire size, to figure out whether it would fit on original Kyosho Birels rims?

Which ones did you have in mind?

Well ,my guess ,you might can find a foam tires by them self an glue them on the original wheels if you can't find
a matching set to fit the axle!..

Hey good ppl.

Winter is coming!!
So I thought I buy a few winter projects....and here they are. I have finally acquired THE HPI RS4, no body for it though, its going to be a Golf MK2.
Can someone tell me what is the other HPI engine that has been painted in black? Any way the paint can be removed?
BMW is GS Racing branded, is pretty much mint, all just needs a good clean as its been stored for a very long time.

You can also try the Tamiya Tyrrell P34 tires and wheels. Front and back are different size. Since they have re-release them, there should be some in stock.

RS4 restoration coming along nicely. It cleaned up really well. Engine completely torn apart and cleaned with ultrasonic cleaner. Has good compression.
Fuel tank from HSP, exhaust is from Traxxas Rustler.

Just a small update, not sure if you guys are still keen to track my progress.
So far, I have installed a few things from different cars.

Kyosho exhaust hader, and Tmaxx tuned pipe have made their way onto this RS4.
On the original header the gap was wider than on the engine, so it was leaking air from there badly.
Worked out quite well.

Have also installed a failsafe spring on throttle servo, and have rebuild the throttle linkage completely.
I found that original HPI design was terrible, and carb would never return back to fully closed.
