I'm just curious if anyone every bought anything at that site. Considering they swear in their advertisements, it makes me a bit wary to shop there for credibility sake... unfortunately, they carry a part that I can find at only a few other places for my aftershock. Well, it's more for my friends LST2, but I might buy one as well just in case.

I did a search and didn't really come up with any threads about it here.

what do you mean, "swear" in there advertisments? what are they saying?

NVM, I See. no bull****

i would be wary about ordering from them their site doesn't look like one of the best and like you said the swearing. have you considered ordering from A Main or Tower Hobbies because tower is in IL so shipping should be fast for ya and amain is a great place to shop to!

They don't carry the part I'm looking for. It's from a sub-par company that makes aluminum parts, but the part I want isn't subjected to direct impact.

The company is Hot Racing. If you go to Hot Racing's website, they direct you to Hobby Etc and Liquid RC when you view a part:
http://www.hot-racing.com/index.cgi?c=160

The only reason I say sub-par is due to their prices. They seem to be on the same line as integy... which isn't all that great, so it leads me to believe that the aluminum is more than likely prone to bending.

Like I said though, I'm looking at the diff retainer. It isn't subject to direct impact and even if it is sub-par aluminum, it should hold up better than plastic. It's $14 shipped... not a big loss if it is junk, but cool if it holds up longer than stock.

olds, idk about liquid r/c but Hobby Etc is a great place. I've been in their shop a few times, good people in there who know what they are talking about.

I might be headed there in a few weeks, lmk if you want me to pick the part up if they have it.

Another thing olds, those aluminum shock ends on the Revo I sold you were hot racing, hot racing seems to be pretty decent, not the best, but not bad.

Olds Killerhobbies has that part too. And so far I've had nothing but 1st rate CS from them.

I don't use the ends anymore. The shock shafts would snap off in them. I've been running all plastic ends with TiNi shafts for about the past 3 gallons of abuse. You wouldn't even recognize it anymore... it's a 3.3 chassis now.

Thanks for the offer of picking the parts up. I ended up buying a couple LST diff retainer collars at Liquid. I'll post the results when they show up.

The site was a nice site, but they only take PayPal.

Yea I figured you didn't use them. I was just saying they seemed to hold up very well, for me at least. And yea, I've seen pics of what used to be my Revo haha, glad to see you are enjoying it.

i thought the same mate but they are legit. A guy at my local track bought from them. TBH i dont think they have a huge range on parts i thnk thy kinda crap to be honest

They have a lot of stuff for the LST series... pretty much everything in aluminum. And many different brands. I even saw some new era stuff there.
