Try www.fmadirect.com

I recommend buying from local hobby shops and supporting them, that is where I buy all I can, unless there is someting they cannot order east(like my Hacker/Schultze I had to order online).

Kokam makes great quality LiPo cells.

Second NO you cannot use a standard charger made for NiCd or NiMH cells.Uless you have a higher end universal charger made to charge standard and LiPo cells.

Even then caution should be used,I would only buy a charger made for LiPo cells.

Using the wrong charger = major hazard and can reslut in the LiPo inflating and blowing in a BIG ball of flame.

thanx a lot
how much would a decent lipo charger cost

Astro makes some fine LiPo chargers, can be found around $125.But you can buy much cheaper, simpler LiPo chargers(Celectra) for around $50 that work well.

I would not go with the cheapies and not overspend either.Like with any charging, basic precautions should be applied. And cells should be monitored for abnormal heat and cell deformation.

triton or Ice chargers......they both have temp sensor capability and are the most bang for the buck...both are around 115.....

Forgot the Triton,a great charger.SO far in the lower echelon of the mid priced chargers the Triton is a champ.
