Lipo or NiMH

The biggest advantage, in my opinion, with lipo is they drop off very sharply. It's almost like they have a full charge the whole time. Nicads and nimhs will wear down gradually while you run them.

YES, lipo battery drain very very fast, I've got one on my savage X. So I prefer Nicads and nimhs. Or for cheaper price I used only Energizer on some of my buggies, no hussle.

That's a lie or just a bad lipo. My 2 batteries will keep the e-revo running hard for at least 20 minutes.

LOL at lipo's not lasting as long as a nimh. Lipos ARE superior in every way.

Treated right lipos, is the only consideration you need,
Some cheap lipos are very good, Some expensive lipos are very poor.
If you find a make, google that name and check for reviews.
Two Lipo advantages are cost, Also weight to energy density ratio.

I have battery pack nimhs but 8.4V can I used it or can damage my nitro car?

For Nitro cars, you should stick with a 6v rx pack unless you've upgraded your electronics (mainly servos) to take the higher voltage (7.4v) of a lipo rx pack.
