So I'm going lipo in my stampede with a vxl setup but I'm having a hard time finding a pack that I won't have to mod the chassis a lot. I was looking at hobby king turnigy 2s 5000 20c packs put I will need to cut the front cross brace out.

Here's one that would fit length and width wise. It's a tad tall though. The measurements I came up with are 140L x 48W x 20H(mm). The height I measured is pushing it because of the gussets molded into the bottom-sides of the battery compartment. This pack looks like it would work with a little lengthening of the battery hold-down posts. You find anything?

I like that pack. I hope that I can order them tonight and it won't take a month to get them.

leave your vrowser open for awhile untill the website asks if you are unsure about buying the pack, then it should ask you if you want to buy it if they lower the price

well i ordered 2 of those packs. after some measuring it seems like they will fit nicely. i hope that they work.

Well I got my zippy packs this thing rips. They fit like a glove and I had about 20 min of run time until the xl-5 trans let loose. I knew it would so I'm headed to the lhs to see what he has. There's nothing like a 40 mph wheelie and my neighbours are grumbling about me running in the street.
