lipo help

hey just wondering what is the problem with my lipo i have a maxamps 3s 5250mah lipo for my traxxas ruster vxl and it only charges 1500mah and sometimes 2000mah if I'm lucky the voltage is pretty high it is near 11.1v when i plug it in to charge so I'm just wondering how to get the voltage down so i can get the mah up.

Sounds like you need to drive your rustler a little longer, if you don't use more then 1500 - 2000 mah out of the battery then you won't be able to put more then that much back into it.

AS long as you have a lipo cutoff on there, run it till it stops, then charge.

Well, run it until it slows down is more like it. Most LVCs will cut power to 50% or cut power to 0%.....depends on how yours works. I know my VXL would just start to crawl when the LVC kicked in. hehe

i run it untill the lipo cut of is activated but i donno what the problem is the voltage doesn't want to go down my 7.4v lipo stops at like 7.2v instead of
3.7v so i donno what the problem is.

Is the charger good? Are you balancing the cells?

3.7 volts X 2 remember. 2s=2 cells, 3s=3 cells, ect..

What charger, how many amps are you chraging at and are you using a balancer?
