I have been looking at the Zeee lipo guard bag. I like that it has the little pass thru for the charger cable. Are all the lipo bags essentially the same? What bags do you use and recommend?

Yea all those lipo bags on amazon are generally the same design, just a different brand name. I have the hoovo ones. I use the bigger bag for my charger and the smaller bag for batteries and charge leads. I also use tenergy lipo charging sacks for charging, and they also hold 2 batteries for storing.

Lipo bags, they are hit or miss. I just use these amazon ones just to transport my stuff from home, to the car, to the track, back home from the track, and due to track rules. If your looking for safety, I would use a ammo can, or a lipo bat-safe from AMain

An ammo can or bat safe box imo is too big to haul around so ideally id just leave it at home. But if your like me and race / go out to tracks and/or bash alot, then the amazon ones will be fine for you.

I just toss my lipo's around the house for the cats to play with, the cats play with the lipo bags too, trying to teach my cats how to charge my batteries, but doesn't seem to be going well so far. 🤷‍♂️

Seriously, same as everyone else, batteries in bag, bag in ammo can.

Do you guys cut the rubber seal out of the ammo cans?
I didn't. I have so many batteries now, I put my newest, bestest batteries in the bag, in the can. But all are in the cans. They were $13.xx at Wally World. Like @DavidB1126 I have a bigger lipo bag & a small one. I always charge packs in a bag, sitting on a 1" thick 12"x12" UHMW plastic plate. Why? Idk, I work in a machine shop & have access to all types materials. Can't be too careful, IMO.

The bags dont do much but I suppose they help a bit. Batt Safe or an ammo can would be my suggestion
Yes-From what I've read, a lipo bag will extinguish a 2s battery, maybe a 3s, other than that, possible burn thru. Plus, ammo cans are cool.

Right, I have 2 ammo cans I use too but I suppose if a person really wanted to cover their bases theyd use a bag inside an ammo can. lol

Oh and yes, take the rubber seals out of the cans or at least have someway to allow the can to vent in the case of emergency.

Ah- I should remove the seal. Didn't think of that- ventilation ✌️

I have a friend that uses sand bags inside ammo cans. If there is a fire it will melt the plastic backs and contain the fire in sand.

That's an excellent idea. I wonder if spraying mine with bedliner is not a good idea. Wonder if it's flammable. Maybe I'll put my ammo in that one. And get another plain one.

Do y'all charge in the Ammo cans, If so do you Drill a few holes in them?
I charge in ammo cans and I have 1 hold drilled in the top portion of the front of the can, so if I have to seal a runaway Lipo in it, it wont build pressue. I drill it in the front so if flames happen to come shooting out of it, it will shoot out toward the middle of my hobbyroom instead of possibly blasting aginst something flammable.

How big a hole?

I dont recall exactly how big but I want to say 3/16" - 1/4"? doesn't matter to much but I wouldnt go much less than 3/16ths. You just want it to be able to vent so it doesn't build up pressure inside the can.
