Hey all, was wondering how many of you are running Li-Po's for rx packs in your nitro's. I'm thinking about it for my Revo and my buggy. If your running them how many cells 1, 2, or 3? How long are your run times?

I'm currently running a 7.2v Li-Ion batt in my savage seems to be holding up just fine I'm also running a regulator to drop the voltage to 6v I picked it up here www.batteriesamerica.com so far I have yet to drain the pack as I've only been able to run a quick tank or two before having to pack it in for the day.

Let me give you an importent warning.

Since these packs run at 7.2V you need a regulator to bring the voltage down to 6V.

If that regulator fails, your reciever, and servos may fry.

i run a 2cell lipo in my xb8. ran it all season, using a novak regulator.

I have only run Li-Po in my Helicopter and just today I bought a Combat Wing and plan to use a 3 cell Li-Po in that along with a brushless motor. I am also looking into a Li-Po for my TC 4, 3 cell, and will use that with my eo One and Sphere ESC. I've heard run times as long as 45 minutes with this set up.
