The wheels could def be Kyosho.
Need a more complete pic or 3. I have a GP10 here to compare.
Tamiya did make nitro cars as well. No idea if this is one.

Post more pics!

Are you planning to restore this for running or for the shelf... What will you do with this car once its running?

Porsche bodies were always one of my faves for racing! 😎 👍

I think that is the Kyosho body, but it appears to be missing the louvers on the side where the black rectangular areas are.

But that looks more like an HPI chassis. Just guessing. Still researching. Maybe @Chubaka can verify that.

I don't believe those are Kyosho wheels. Definitely not the original 911 Slantnose anyway. They look more HPI to me as well. Just guessing.

wheels/tires are disposable and often changed. never a good idea to base a guess of those.

my thinking is i know Kyosho had a slant nose Porsche. the engine running parallel to the driveline with a center 2 speed that puts power out through driveshafts to front and rear diffs reminds me of a few Kyosho's from back in the day. raw aluminum finish was a standard for Kyosho. black phillips screws was a Kyosho thing back in the day. and the upside down steering servo i remember Kyosho doing that on maybe a pureten car (?) back in the day as well as the red primer on the fuel tank.
but hey, iv been wrong before.

Good points. I found this, which clearly isn't the chassis shown here.

That chassis is not the same as mine.

that's a newer chassis. that looks like the platform they did to death in the mid/late 90's. Sandmaster ST is one. there were 3 or 4 off road cars and some on road cars as well (i want to say there was also a Ferrari (?)). there's also a handful of electric versions based off the Ultima (my Stadium Baja being one).

after some googling its reminding me of the Superten FW03-FW04. but I'm not convinced that what it is.
it makes me think. i have a truck called a "Tower Hobbies ST-15". its a 2wd nitro stadium truck that shares a lot of parts with my Kyosho Stadium Baja. makes me wonder if Tower Hobbies did an on road car as well 🤔

it's all wheel drive, 4x4.
i know. my thought was that if Tower Hobbies "cloned" (or hell maybe ripped off ?) a Kyosho stadium truck. if they had done it with an on road car they could have "cloned" an FW03/04 which would have been a 4wd on road car. idk it was just a thought. i have no evidence for a Tower Hobbies on road car its just me thinking out loud.
