Lead free solder alternatives??????

I guess I was just trying to stress that in the event that I need to redo the job, it will go far smoother than this time. Frustration with the overpriced 'solder' are whats got me worked up, not the comments... sorry for being on edge.
I have bad luck with deaing with repair ppl generally speaking.
I really try to handle my own.
Coming from the auto repair field, I have been completely jaded by the entire process.
The leak is just a drip. The water is on and working tonight.
I plan to shut everything down in the morning and hopefully repack the valve.
The pump pressure gauge is junk too but we'll be leaving that until it blows up or its time to replace this mess with a complete pex system. Replacing the gauge looks like another can of worms.

Home ownership isn't bad. Its just a pain in the nuts when instead of moving forward, I'm moving backwards.

Wasn’t trying to challenge your capabilities or come across like I don’t think you know what you’re doing, if it came off like that I apologize. Just sharing the fact I’ve had my behind handed to me from simple tasks sometimes lol

If I'm honest, I blew it off today.
Its not leaking badly and I really didn't feel like going out to brave the 45mph wind today.

This house was jinxed by a PRO! Boy, they must have gone to the highest voodoo priest... Maybe this WAS the setting for Poltergeist???
Do you guys think I should rebury that old skull I found in the back yard???

The guy who lived here built the place. He died but I don't think he entirely knows that yet.
I'm pretty sure he's not the only haunt in this place either.
I'm about as subtle as a freight train so I imagine our personalities are still at some odds. I don't think he likes me or my repairs much.

I'm pretty sure I could store gasoline in open glass bottles in our basement and not jinx this place any more than it is already.

See, if I said something like that, the valve would explode and break at least two windows, which would rain down glass shards and cut me badly enough I had to go to the ER instead of fixing the water line!!!

THIS luck is just the reason I won't try to fix that gauge... but my OCD has little elves that work late at night and...
When I was younger, I was considering having a wing added to the local ER so I could have a reserved room and save a little cash!!!
