I'm surprised no one has brought these up, it looks like Traxxas is trying to make an "affordable" line of vehicles that'll be $150 RTR. I still don't think they are an affordable entry level RC, they look more like an expensive toy grade one. I mean they don't even have oil filled shocks, they are all plastic and run on a rx pack. But hey, Traxxas released platform other than the Merv. I wonder what their prices will be for the upgrades, AKA hobby grade parts.

I also like how this cheap rtr has steel dogbones and the $290 gymkhanna has plastic..

Hey, I would try it out if I had a decent area to drive it. But everything out here where I live is just too rough. Sounds good though, I was surprised to read they are AWD.

You can get the brushed 1/16 Fiesta for the same price, and if you get tired of it convert it to any of the other 1/16 rigs and go brushless.

I ordered 2 from my LHS for two of my boys. I'll let you all know how it turns out. The oldest races a M05 at the shop, but the other two just crash the car. They have a hard time with the front wheel drive.

Traxxas have become the biggest rip off brand in rc i hope people stop buying from them until they come back to earth. This will go head to head with the hpi micro rs4 and that costs $140 around rtr so if this latrax will be $99 then ok but knowing traxxas it will be 300% profit.

Traxxas lost me when I found out they rebadged the hubsan x4 and charge x4 times the price here at least.

Hubsan x4 costs £26 here
Traxxas qr1 costs £99

The best traxxas deal I've seen is the xo1 on tower for $499 or 599 from over $1000 that says they've mucked up to me and now need to charge the earth on everything else to make up for the xo1.

I like most Traxxas rc's and they are as good as most other brands IMO BUT they need to stop "redesigning" there current rc's and start from scratch with a real scale rc! With there cult following they could dominate the scale and crawler sales......I'm not saying they would win comps but they would kill it in sales!

The erevo is a bad a## rig, I've had 3 of them, i destroyed one(ran over by a truck) i jumped one into the guinness world record book (since been broken by some german dude) and now i have project insanity
