Kyosho pureten alpha restoration project

I'm in the process of restoring a kyosho pureten alpha GP and the disc brakes have worn. Is the upgrade to the grp disc(thin and 2 of them) worth the upgrade over the standard disc?

Well I purchased and they have arrived, but I don't know if I'm meant to fit both discs or just 1? And the others a spare?

Are you sure brake discs are worn? I have seen some beat up nitro cars and am yet to see worn out brake pads?

Some photos would be good for us to see.

Alternatively download the exploded view for the model, and see which way and how many discs go on the car.
