It is an outstanding place for good info. However the info you are looking for has been discussed time and time again, and eventually the threads get ugly because everyone has their own opinion. All VB is saying is use the search, you may not find an exact match to Kyosho v. Xray but you will find plenty of info on both and then you can compare and form your own opinion. For instance, IMO, X-Ray is better but I have one and have never personally ran a Kyosho. IMO and my opinion only if Kyosho was putting out a truly awesome buggy, why the hell do they release a new kit or version every three months (so it seems). See, now someone will come along and tell me I'm full of crap and don't know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Really, VB wasn't bein' rude just trying to get you to use the search feature of this site and keep this one out of the FFA.

Jet, you're full of crap!

lol, my dad has a Kyosho that I drive all the time. I am getting an Xray for xmas and it'll be interesting to see which I like best. A lot of it is personal preference. However a lot of magazines I read pick the MP777 which is why my dad got that buggy.

my eyes are still blue so you can't tell if I'm full of crap.......

Divine, that had to be one of the pissiest replies to a suggestion....C'mon this hobby REQUIRES you to be smart....If you can't do a simple search and need to be spoon fed everything then I'd suggest collecting as a hobby........no brainer just keep a buttload of stuff and look at it......
We'll gladly help you after you have shown enough interest to do some research......

BTW jet have you run your XB8 yet????
wear depends cause compared to your revo, you'll crap your pants :D

I have a box of those! :jk: Actually Plaid, I haven't, it's been so damn cold here and I'm still going through it to give it a good once over. All out little birdies are out so I have a wide open hangar to play in this week so I may bring it in this week and check it out!

:) some of you are so funny!!!!!!!!!!!
how old are you? RESEARCH

Thats why I asked the question in the first place!
Being spoon fed how did you get that? I asked a simple Question and got a lot of smart answers. No worries though i bought them both thanks 4 the good info. :)

ace 48 thanks! The guy who owns the lhs drives for for xray he is ranked 1 in florida & 10th in the country. He also drove for kyosho for 2 years he gave me alot of info on both cars so I got them both. I also bought 2 Nova rossi P5. :) :redbuggy:

No matter what is said it is a matter of opinion. And that is what ya got. Now I think that the more appropriate way to handle your question is more like this. What do you like / dislike about both so far? Have you driven them much? Parts availability? I have driven both and I like em both but that could very well be the owner setting it up right!

Thanks and yes I did get an opinion. Thanks for the help

Thats cool Divine, I will also be getting a Novarossi P5 for mine. If you haven't got a pipe for it yet I hear the JP-1 is best on the P5, makes for insane torque, if you have a long track you may want to go for the JP-2.

Well like wsa said before please use the search function...this question has been asked many times and I guarantee you there's a ton of info on the 2 buggies here.....

You asked a question and received the appropriate answer, you then decided to make a snide comment about us not wanting to help you (this is the spoon feeding part i reffered to, see previous answer)

I'm not trying to do the you newbie dork attitude but your smart alec reply was very immature passive agressive childishness hence the other questions about your age fom others......
Now congratulations on your small fortune in 1/8 scale RCs.....the building part is the most fun.....why did you purchase 2 different buggies??? if you are intending to race it's better to get one brand so your pit box doesn't look like a junkyard :D I know from experience how easy that can happen.....
Now that you have BOTH buggies you can give a wonderful write up on both......:D
back to the thread....did you get the SP1 and the XB8 or the Raycer versions???
