I purchased a few of those for my son in like 95 ish I think ..
 
It's about the size of the Mini-Z's little brother. I have a couple of the Kyoshos that size.
 
its 1995 sold those at ToysRus. radioshack .Taget every gas station in my state has a little dual stick radio you would charge car with..rang was like 20 feet.

The range is much better on this one.

There are quite a few improvements. Suspension on the front, longer battery life, and some really good range.
