I'm probably going to tear the motor down this weekend and replace the conrod because I was told that was a good idea since it's put under such a great amount of stress during break in. Then it's getting a whole new exhaust.
 
I don't know about replacing the connecting rod. Literally, I don't know. I will Def confirm I have heard, and it makes sense that it takes a lot of abuse during break in. I don't suppose it could hurt and it will also give you a good opportunity to clean out the motor of any little metal flakes, contaminated that might be floating around as well as being able to deal the motor up nice. The exhaust replace is a good step towards better performance, that's for sure! Already looking forward to the next vid!
