Finally some dry tarmac here in Denmark. Out to shred some tyres 😎 Literally.......

Thats a MONSTER!!! Is that a flux capacitor under the fan? That thing looks like it could power a Tesla! 👀🤣

I hope you get this sorted quickly now! 😎
I'm starting to be a little scared now 😂 of course it is a Flux Capacitor 😂 Whatever happens I hope it won't end up in another time or dimension 😃

Got the ESC installed. It's a tight fit (that's what she said...) but it's sitting there almost perfectly 😊

Also installed a telemetry voltage sensor and a telemetry temperature sensor for the motor.

Half of the fun arrived today. A Max6 G2 ESC. Soldered on a couple of IC5 connector in series.

It's a bit bigger than the Firma 150 but will fit just fine with a bit of trimming on one of the battery trays.

The Max6 is a beast! Mine is the G2S with Bluetooth & the app is pretty cool. Datalog, temps & such. Keep it cool.

They were slightly on the high side. It's in a Kraton w/ a 18t pinion & I bash it pretty hard, & the temps can get up there.
I see.

I guess you are more prune to hight temps then, with the Kraton being heavier and probably also loaded more under off road bashing than the Infraction will be. But nice to know. I will definitely keep an eye on the temps :)

Which motor are you running in the Kraton?

While waiting for that damn motor I took my time and did some cable sleeving and wire management to keep everything nice and tight. Took quite some time though. I shortened a couple of the wires going into the receiver from the servo and my temperature sensor. Dremmeled a couple of holes in the receiver box so that the wires from the ESC can go straight in.

Sure hope that I got my measurements right and that the motor wires are long enough to reach the ESC in its current resting spot. I really don't want to do all this over again 😂

So the rest of the fun arrived. The good news is that the wires fit perfectly. The bad news is that the motor is rubbing on the chassis and preventing me from meshing the gears properly. I've ordered a 50T spur and a 22T pinion that will give me roughly the same gearing and space needed to fit the motor 😊
