Nice find GW. I'm a sucker for any chassis kit. Watching the Y.T. assembly video now. I'd like to think it could work as a MT conversion-but probably geared too low. Like how HPI has balanced off the motor weight and battery weight on the chassis. Thanks for the heads up and link. Yeah, surprising not a lot of chatter yet.

Price wise-I'm finding $261.99 USD w/free shipping on Ebay out of NH. Reasonable. 'AC'

Yeah, I figure anyone that likes a good kit build and scaler/crawler stuff ought to love this

If I could find a parts supplier I would consider it. I seen it years ago before my 10.2 then a few years back again. I think the trx4 took alot of attention. Not saying they stole it, just that they dropped something that became the new hot item.

If you are in the states then your best bet is Hobby Recreation Products as they are the official US distributor for HPI Racing. Yeah didn't this come out back when HPI was still owned by RIPMAX?
thats sick how much i can't find the price?
$261.99

Good to know. The scale kit came out 2018. The venture (assuming its the chassis in rtr form) has been out since atleast 2015.

May 2016 is when RIPMAX bought the via Hpi website.

The Venture was announced in 2015 but do to the bankruptcy it didn't actually hit the stores until sometime in 2017 iirc, I know it wasn't released until after Traxxas released the TRX-4.

-edit- Amain shows December 13, 2017. Rich from the RCNetwork got his in October 2017.

I've been wondering whats going on with HPI ever since the bankruptcy. They didnt seem to close their doors but their products arent readily available either. 🤷‍♂️

Hey Greywolf. Went to the HPI website for a look-see. Found a dealer listed in Houston. Interested in their Jumpshot MT Flux. Wanting a 2WD rear motor MT and like the HPI TVP (Twin Vert. Plate) concept.

Regarding the Venture SBK, looks like HPI discontined the R-T-R Venture's and are only offering the SBK at present. Think the SBK is 1/10, but unless I'm missing it, did not see a scale referenced anywhere. Always liked the HPI product, but have yet to pull trigger on buying one. Have to wonder why?

Cheers and Regards. 'AC'

Yeah, I hope HPI gets back up to its former glory. they make some pretty cool stuff.

I would assume it's still the same 1/10 the RTR was.

I have a micro RS4 I picked up at Goodwill for $1 several years ago that I threw the stock receiver from my TRX4 in when I swapped out the the Flysky and I picked up a NiMH battery from Amazon for $10 and it's a fun little hardwood and concrete ripper.
