I got done with dinner and now i'm watching some RC videos while i wait until after 8 pm to take my night meds. Edit: I've also been looking around at stuff to buy for my future RC workshop shed like a big rolling tool chest and work bench. View attachment 278807
Id get the non wheel model. You go on vacation and someone breaks in then its easy to wheel off.

I get that although it shouldn't be a problem but yeah it might a good idea to get the non mobile version and it might be cheaper too. I'll have to look and see what they have at Home Depot and Harbor Freight in Tucson.

Good luck!
If i get the 10PXR in the future i'll probably get the optional battery for it and a case similar to the one i use for my iXSR+ but it would be the 4800 model and in black vs orange as i have with my iXSR+.

Hopefully you love in a better place tgen I. Every couple weeks its on yhe news. Growing up i heard about a dude with a civic stealing a portable basketball hoop with it sticking out the sun roof. 😁😆

Finished our "float" for the parade Saturday.
Our church always participates and passes out bags of candy and flyers for our Vacation Bible School.
Last few years we've (I've) been making a small "float" based on a gorilla utility trailer that matches our theme
This year's theme is rodeo.
This is supposed to be someone that rides out during the opening ceremony of the rodeo
After the parade one piece will serve as a sign outside advertising VBS and one will be slightly modified to serve as decor inside
I'm also shooting for a rodeo themed Christmas play so I'll try to repurpose it for that, too

When i talked about my idea to get a Futaba 10PXR someday i forgot to show what battery and case i would use with it. Here's the battery it's a Futaba 2S Li-ion that can be recharged with a USB-C like my iXSR+.

Here's the case i would use, It's an Apache 4800 a step above the 3800 i use with my iXSR+ but in black.

I got up early this morning i was watching Futaba 10PX\PXR videos and i found one video showing how to install the optional APA steering wheel offset adapter aka steering wheel drop down adapter. Since i saw a few people do it to their 7 and 10PX's and after using my iXSR+ which was a drop down steering assembly as part of it's design i like it better than the standard steering wheel position that is on most transmitters.

I assembled a garden bench, first one arrived with damage so they sent a second one. Bit of a handful assembling it on my own, needed a third hand.

Moved the old weather battered one out of the way and noticed that the base is too small for the new one. As ever these things seem like 5 minute jobs until you start them 😀

The spin off is that the first bench delivered damaged was repairable with wood glue and clamps so now i have a surplus of benches!

I have started to plan around those 5 minute jobs. I wake up early, eat a big breakfast, get all my phone calls out of the way.
I do my grocery shopping, mow the lawn, do my laundry, then call 3 friends to come over and help me with it.
They don't mind usually tho. It'll only take 5 mins!
