Tommorrow someone from eBay is coming by for local pick-up of my HPI Nitro Rush.

I know this sounds dumb but I can't figure out if the sticky side of the Slipper Clutch Pad sticks onto the Spur Gear or the Aluminum Slipper Plate?

How did you sell this if you don't know how to assemble it?

I know how to I just can't remember which side the sticky side goes to. I did this same thing before just can't remember.

Are you gonna help me or just criticise?

Ok Honestly I think the sticky side goes to the plate. Good luck

I don't know, but it might be faster to check out HPI's website and see if you can find an online manual.

Are you sure? I don't wanna put it on and then have to take it off and reverse it!

I have the manual but it doens't give any hint at which side it goes onto!

sticky part goes on the plastic spur. the pad looks jsut like a savages slipper pad and I'm sure it sticks to the spur like how the savage works. ok....i dont own a rush but I'm sure on this one.

I'm 100% posotive the sticky side goes on the spur gear. The slipper pad is made to stick onto the spur so the pad can slip on the slipper plate.

Ok, I sticked it to the big plastic spur gear seems good. The reason I replaced it was because everytime I would accelerate it would take a good second or two to actually move, as in it would sit there or move a foot or two then it would slowly slowly slowly get going. Am I right to think that that was because of the slipper clutch?

yes but you might not have had the slipper nut tight enough thats has happened to me before with my savage.

I remember checking the nut and tightening it and making sure the wheels couldn't move if I held the spur gear...I got it now, time to make the $$$$...lol

I probably won't buy another R/C car until I'm out of university, wait, I ain't even in university...lol

Does anyone know of a website that explains IN DETAIL just about everything about a Nitro r/c car?

For example it would explain about shock oil and tuning and handling and everything. I just want to learnnnnnn...lol...it would be better if it were about on-road but both will do!
