Ok I got this on a deal I made and I have no idea what it is for..I have looked every were and still can't come up with any thing even with the part###

IT says on it
Century # CN2023 dual rate module unit...

century.jpg

That could be one of a few things. Are sure it's #2023? It appears to be from Century Helicopter Products. At least that's what the label looks like. #2023 on their site is a micro servo. But #2022 is a dual rate micro gyro. Which is one of those things that keeps a heli from spinning out of control. I'm guessing that's what it is.

Thats the part# on it 2023 dual rate??? Every gyro I have seen only has two leads coming out of it..this has four leads??

I went to there site also but the part# shows a servo?? witch this is clearly not!..the 2022 is a gyro single rate..witch this not the same thing in there pics...????
This is driving me nuts

OK, well the only info I could find was a brief sentence on RunRyder. Sounds to me like that is a module that plugs inline with the servos and allows whatever channel you plug it into to act with dual rates. How it does that I have no clue. Century doesn't have any info on it on their site so I'm coming up blank there.

I no A big olll blank...You whould think century whould have some kind of info for it?? but the part# just don't jive with it.
I was thinking It was for running two servos off of one funtion
Like dual steering servos..But it is made for air not land

I sent this to Zandor along with a 7 channel radio. I was pretty sure this was the extra gyro I had, but I couldn't find the paperwork on it. I looked it up on Century's site, and found nothing on it. Part #2023 shows a micro servo. That made me wonder if it only works with 2023 servos, but since it's not listed, and 2022 is essentially the same thing, maybe they changed some model numbers.
Without it being listed, I can't get the schematic to wire it.
If, as I think, it IS a gyro, it's more than just the tail lock gyro which would have a lead in and a lead out.
I have a Century heli, and I'll have to open it up to see what kind of gyro is in there. If it's the same setup, I'll draw a wiring diagram for you.
