Hmmmm....that's bull. I normally do that to the little kids that come around and want to drive mine. Who cares about those kind of people. That's all I can say. I've never encountered something like that. Don't let it destroy the hobby for you though.

I get that too, Every once in a while Ill let em take a quite rip. There good to have around. They always seem eager to put your truck back on 4 wheels after it rolls.

Were the older dudes that did this?? And your younger? Or them younger and your older?? Thats about the other thing I could see i guess. If they were older they could have thought u were just some "dumb kid", or if you were older and they wer younger they could have seen ya as a "Old Fart" (but usually want to take advantage of a person over 21 for beer at least...lol) But thats weird. I dont thinK I have ever experianced that in any hobby or any sport I've played. Dont let em get ya down. If there gonna be dicks then there not the people ya wanna bash with anyway. If your ever up in MN. let me know and we can bash! I'm in the same boat you are looking for people to bash with.

Older

I'm 35 but feel 20. When I say older I mean 50 or so. I had never been to the back of the hobby store before because there's nothing that interest me back there. When I decided to wander around the store while the cashier discussed action figures with his friend, there they were trying to pull start an RC car. They never even looked up from what they were doing. No big deal!! I'll stick to mail order for now. I have applied to become a distributor for an RC company. Maybe I can give them a run for their money. I can't be the only person they treat this way. It should be easy to lure their customers away with customer service like that.

I was on my way to pick up dinner one night, I saw these two guys with maxx's bashing around a park close to my house, I watched them till they ran out of fuel , got out of my van and started to talk to them, we talked for a while, they were great! I told them if they ever wanted to bash I knew some much better spots and a track a few towns away,we exchanged buisness cards and I met up with them the next Saturday, we had a great time and it was all about RC, that was a few months ago, we get together almost every other weekend or so and break parts and just bullshit the time away, I think thats how it should be, the assholes you met seemed to have territory(we were here first ) issues and mabye felt like you you walked into there spot without being invited by them, I know it was a public spot , but people can just be assholes sometimes, I say screw em! This is a great hobby,alot of really good people enjoy it, and like me, like to share it and just have a good time! you will find that there are plenty of good bashers out there, every once in a while you meet those two guys,, very rare though! Have fun and dont let that experience ruin your day!

and yah those guys you were "talking" to were just jerks. most people in this hobby are a lot nicer than that. but i gotta say i do know how you feel. some of the guys in my lhs are the biggest jerks, and they're the only employees i ever see in the car section of the shop. o well, most of the time i mailorder anyways so it's no big deal. it does get annoying though

Jerks or Dorks are required in this life, otherwise there would be no way of defining the nice ones.
You also need butt ugly on the bottom of the scale so you can define drop dead beautiful on the high end.
You should thank those jerks for being in first place at the bottom of the scale because everyone else you meet in this hobby will be rated higher.

I haven't met them, but is there any chance they are Butt Ugly Jerks?
