I Hate The Winter!

I hated the thought of putting up my nitros for the winter, that's why I went electric onroad (I'm an onroad guy at heart). But for those guys who want to do off road indoors, there's a few places here in the ny area. I beleive that LIRaceway has an indoor track for the electric buggies. New facilities too and the track is hardpacked clay.

I'm racing my 8th scale at a small indoor track tomorrow. my last race was the rb mods challenge early november. sorry- just had to rub it in a little. any good tracks around phoenix racing this time of the year? ill be going there late this month for business and would like to get some racing in while I'm there.

can i get an "amen"? i need some racing action! soooo bored with no speed fix on the weekends.

I love the Winter--Hence thats why I live in Anchorage Alaska!

But I do miss the racing and I wish someone would build an indoor offroad track......Winter gives me a break and allows me to tear down my rides and make them almost mew again...

I run nitro in the winter here in the pacific northwest. Practice time with my winter engine a wasp26 carbed ported HPI 21bb engine in a water resistant associated MGT.

Hey CorradoPsi, I figured you would have an electric car with a VW lid to bash in your house or winter racing? I just picked up a new HPI micro RS4 cheap on Ebay to basement bash. I have to get my fix one way or another.

Scott

i have a micro heli for indoor use. aka, destroying the house.

I race indoor in the winter. CRCRC.com if you are ever in the Columbus area. Also have an X-Mod. We set up a conduit track a few times a winter in my pole barn. Wood burner, RC, beer, what else do you need to make a fun Saturday afternoon?

hookers would be a nice added touch. on a serious note- it amazes me how some people always seem to find a way to get together for some fun no matter what the weather brings. i wish more guys in my area would go for stuff like that but they would rather hang out at the lhs making fun of those who they can't beat...those damn loosers.

Hey Hyped, I will be at the CRCRC Wednesday 12/22 for gas truck practice night. I need a nitro fix and the place looks absolutely awsome!! The wife and kids are gonna drop me off, go shopping and then come back and get me. Man I can't wait!!!

My only fear is I will get hooked on the place and want to go every week, 5 hour roundtrip will get expensive...not the nitro part.......not the travel part.....the wife and kids shopping part!

Mr T

Sounds good man. I should be there, and will let you know closer to the 22nd.

Hey Hyped I hope you make it on Wed as; My trucks are all broken, I don't have any fuel and my radio gear is glitching. I was just gonna show up and drive (if you can call it that) your MBX!! BTW think you could spot me the $5 to get in??

;) Mr T

It depends on who I am at the moment, sometimes I say yes, sometimes no. But most people around me will say; "YES, that dude is insane"

Don't worry about the $5, I rolled a busload of elementary school kids for their milk money...so all I will need is some fuel and something to drive.

Wuzup all this is my first post on this sight...but anyway Flash and Husky, I'm right in the middle of you two guys(Little Rock). Flash, I've visited Fastlane in Blue Springs a couple of times...sister lives in Blue Springs. Husky, I visit TenIC about once a month(wife is from Somerville). What tracks are up there? I haven't gotten a chance to get to CJ's but I do race at Alison Offroad. Let me know if you guys plan to invade a track, because I'll be there.
