Well, me and a friend went down to the track today, and boy did we have a BALL. I just got the steering fixed on the GT, and he just was breaking out the AXIS buggy for the first time on the track.

Well there were a few other guys down there and it was just an awesome day. GT was running EXCELLENT. Buncha people just watched as I glided the jumps and darted down the straightaways. One guy came over and asked this exactly, "What the heck is that truck called?" I told him it was an RC10GT. He replied. "Damn, that little "f'er" is FAST, it blew my t-maxx away!"

I had a few excellent wrecks today as well. On the second tank of fuel, I was headed down the turn to the table-top jump. I hit that thing FULL speed. I went tumbling for I don't know how many feet, landed on my wheels, even managed to ditch that T-maxx that made the jump fine :)

I raced my friends Axis, was two laps ahead of him in five minutes :)

I finally ended the day when my axle carrier broke. Ohh well, something I expected when I did a turnbuckle mod. I helped a new guy with a Losi XXX-nt with a picco .15 He was in dire straights, the steering was nuts, the thing wouldn't run right. I think he loves it more than either of his rusties :) He even told me he's going to sell one :)

I was making some EXCELLENT times. I could keep up with the lightning RR pro that was down there. I jumped the 4in pipes a billion times. I wish I coulda checked my speeds, I bet I pulled 35 second laps. Record time on it was 34 :) And that was an OFNA 9.5 with a picco .26 hehehehor was it rossi?... I dun remember. Anyways, it was SWEET. Watched a t-maxx hit the fence so hard that it actually had cuts into the top of the body. I got to drive that losi. It was good, too much balls, to little wieght :) I'll stick with me RC10GT.

Friend only went through 2 wings a wing mount. Just found out his entire wing assembly cracked, but it's ok for now.

Trucks I dusted today?

Losi, he couldn't drive to well yet.
Axis buggy :D
I beat that lightning once!
4 different t-maxx's, none kept up.
And some wierd looking ST that was setup to be almost a mixbreed between a MT and an ST :D

Now as for another guy.. No way in HELL could I compete with him.

I finally got to see a 1/5th buggy and OMFG SWEET

IT didn't even care for those jumps. Nor the pipes! It was FAST TOO!! Dude bought it off ebay and MAN. That was the sweetest damned thing I ever have seen.

Now a question, do they make aluminum axle carriers for the RC10GT? It's only a $2.00 part plastic. But still... LHS didn't have any, I want aluminum! :)

EXCELLENT day of racing. I was SO proud of my truck. I can't wait to bolt an OS CV-RX onto it! :)

Wish I was there. Sounds like it truly was a blast!

I've seen the alum pivot blocks for the Losi XXX-NT but I can't seem to find them for the RC10. They Have to be out there by now.

Ill keep digging.

I'm thinking Trinity.... Looking.......

I'd have to believe it'd be Racers Edge. LHS owner thinks so as well, he's going to check for me, but he couldn't find them in his book. The losi's "would" fit on mine, but I'd have to do more moding, in which I don't want to contend with :)

The plastics are part 6221 AE :) Still can't find any aluminums dangit! GO GOOGLE! heheh

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you thank you :)

I ALSO found something else!!! a 125cc FUEL TANK !! ! ! ! Neweramodels.com is cooooool! :)

OMG I searched since I got home. Good skillz there Çh®i§tiªñ. I REALLY appreciate it :)

No problem!!!!!

I'm trying to think of what tank to go with for the maxx. I want to change it with a 'strap-on' kind of tank. I dont like the posts.

LOL! A guy I met at last sundays race had a GREAT idea!

He had a savage tank on his. He had cut two nice size holes in the chasis. glued on some plastic to the top of the tank. Then used removable Zip-Ties on it. It worked REALLY well. I thought they'd let lose, I was wrong. Took a helluva beating that race. :) He only burned half a tank in almost 15 minutes lol

Can't be worse than me. I want a "different" body so bad. Though I don't have the mula to blow on a $25 body and have to scrap it. Any idea if I can get a "touring" type car body for my RC10? :)

I can ask him about it if I go to tommorows race. I'll go if you want some more info. I could ask him, I'm sure he'd give me some insight. I don't know if I'll go now since the GT's axle carrier is snapped. But if you would like the info, I'll surely head down there and see if he's there again :)

Ha. I strapped my Lamborghini body on my Rustler and it looks SICK. When i say sick.its probably the coolest looking truck i ever seen. Besides that twin engine tmaxx. O man...O yeah...great story. I also have beaten people i never expected.-OFNA 1/8 with .21PICCO engine, Two Tmaxxes, A Cen POS, and another rustler, and...GS storm with a .26 engine, a TMaxx with a .21 and long chassis kit(lenghtens wheelbase) and this is all beaten with my STOCK-I repeat-STOCK Rustler2.5. It may not be the best truck but...It dominates on the straights...which we have alot of.

Dont go down there without something on the track yourself. But, next time you do get there, after you are up and running, snap a pic and find out what brand tank it is.

I have spotted a couple Du-Bro tanks that look like that would work zip tied to the chassis.

Someone has a new all metal tank out but I can't find it. Just keep hearing about it. Someone had a pic once, I think on here.

Well, if I DO go down there. I'll end up heading over to the shop and tearing down his body racks again loking for a porshe body! :) I may go down since that 1/5th buggy might be doing test runs on his straights. That thing was the absolute cooooolest thing. I doubt there's anything else out there that could compare to how awesome it was. :) I'll take my camera if I go. I'll snap one if he's there. It's supposed to be nice and bright, so my stupid camera should work. :)

Umm...wouldn't that metal tank do something to the Fuel? I heard the metal TOP FUEL tanks screw up the fuel. Thats why noone uses it. Reason?

I have no idea about the metal tank affecting the fuel. I havent even seen one in person. I'm probably going to go with one of the DuBro airplane tanks and strap it on to the chassis.

hehe I was thinking a 20oz mountain dew bottle. :)

I love smilies!

I noticed. Du-Bro makes cool airplane tanks. Good luck putting that on your R/C car/truck though. :trout:   :music: :classic: :ahh: :spit:   :arrr: :jet:  ;) :wtf: :ban: :spam
