Ordered the rest of the hardware this morning
I have all the pieces printed and laying out
About to start the print on the second trailer.
Did I mention I was making 2? I'm not assembling the second one tho just printing it and throwing it in a box.
Gonna try to talk to the boss into stopping at home Depot on the way home or during lunch today.
Got a raise this morning that was pretty cool

Congrats!!! 👍

step 1 after printing attatching main goose neck sides to the middle. 2.5x12mm X24
step 2 attatch deck vert main plate left and right to the goose neck 3x40 mm X4
step 3 side rails to main rails. 2.5x12 X4 per rail, for me =40
step 4 suspension plate to rail, 3x30 X4 per plate i used 3 plates so X12
step 5 leaf springs to suspension plate 3x20 I'm using 2 axles =X8
step 6 i jumped over to rear bumper, 3x16 grub screw, X6
step 7 I'm not sure yet, i ran out of screws i need and am kind of on pause. i had to reprint a few parts, not for bad print but user malefunction, i forgot to pring a second rail 5 (is thinner and unique)accidentally made 2 left hand bumpers so needed to print a right.

need to order a lot more screws i underestimated how many id need,
but we are making progress

This thing is going to look so sick man.

I'm hoping so, they dont tell you where a singlw screw goes lol. so far I've had to push a small wire into the holes mark w finger then mwasure with micrometer then grab the corresponding screw, is why I'm typing out what goes where and how many, so ill know on the next trailer and be able to assemble it a little faster next time

That's what's nice about Fusion. Send me the files man. I'll see if I can pull it into Fusion and do an exploded view for you. I can add the screws as well. I'll text you my email.

Edit.tge purple will be covered with the deck board lol
Tires are temporary as their a little too large I believe the decking will rub them so I'm waiting on the semi wheels from Amazon

The first pic looks like it's powered by steam. 🤣😄

Can't wait to see this done. I seem to have a trailer fetish. 🤣

the debils steam WOOT WOOOOOOOT

made a little more progress today, back to waiting on screws scheduled for delivery tomorrow.
also picking up my decking tomorrow after dr apt. plan is to lay the board down, lay the main blocks and suspension on, center it up mark my holes, stain it, although I'm also toying with the idea of just hitting it with a coat of flex seal...
drill into the wood from the bottom using a 5/64 bit. lay the main blocks back on and screw it all to the wood. I'm approaching completion on my first!
i am still waiting on final pieces
M3x40mm for attaching the frame to the deck
M2*10mm grub screws for attaching the side rails to each other, as well as the doors to the cabinet

as it sits i can fit 3 10\th scale trucks on it.
the trucks planned for the btc event are the ecto, redcat, and the bronco, as they're the trucks ill be running at BTC and they are all MUCH shorter than the basecamp body,
other than that it wil be hauling camping chairs around while my Vegeta drives our drink cooler around with his basecamp,
pretty stoked to have this come along so smoothly.
i still need to find a light kit!! i keep forgetting!
i have a battery box on the section with the bumper so the wires dont need to be super long.
9 lights on the rear, but i also want to add a light bar to the front of the trailer, and i know NOTHING about lights lol.
every day i gotta start a new hobby to maintain my rc hobby. i love it
