I've just bought a

KANAI II
OS VZ 21
i have a 3PK

I should receive it in the next 5-8 days. Can't wait.

All i need is a fuel bottle and a box starter to get going.

SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDD IS THE NAME OF THE GAME.

i went to the local regular race day last week. Most of them had MT's HPI, KYOSHO and others. 15 motors. Thiose things went well.

Nothing like my Mad ARMOUR, but my KANNAI will be even faster. Should be a crowd pleaser.

I'II get my act together and place some piKKies on the site when its done.

My wife likes the colour green for the Kyosho. I don't know whether to follow that pattern or do a bright colour like red or yellow... What do you guys reckon.

Cheers

That is a very nice setup. Welcome to the 1/8 scale buggy crowd. What kind of track do you guys have? That OS will kick butt on a nice short track.

haha, have some fun with the paint job and do some green/light green and some yellow. JMHO.

Damn fine setup there sir! Congrats!!!!!

The 3PK is a killer TX isnt it?!?! I love mine!

I like the green myself. You could always paint the body blue or yellow and it will go well with the green

That mill will kickass! Just enough balls for the track!

:flamer: Cheers Guys

I thought i'd get with the real deal:OMG: :OMG:

There are two tracks within 20 minutes of where i live. One track is a short track, compact dirt. One jump about 1.5 foot high. It's tight. Takes about 20-30 seconds to get around. My Mad Force loves to roll. I'm going to try and modify it by lowering it and getting off the tractor tyes. The LHS isn't all that well equipped with spike tyres for a 21 MT. So i'm having to search around myself. Still haven't found the answer.

The LHS's here do a great job in the circumstances. It must be hard for them because the big money, or big ticket items, would go to internet sales (if the purchasers here have any sense). For example, i've had quotes for the Kannai II of $2298.00AUD, $1450 AUD and $2209AUD. From Singapore i paid $930. You do the numbers. The 7.5 sports here cost more that what i paid for the annai with postage. I wont go into the engine. I'd love to give the business to the LHS, but i can't justify it.

IN Australia we need a nline rc shop like Tower that gives those reasonable prices.

I spose the other ioption is to get really good and get sponsored. Mayve i'ii leave that for my son when he's 14 in 14 years.

At this track there are about three-four regulars on saturdays rock up with Kannai II's. 3 of them have 3pks. All of us are spun out by how many features and oprions this radio has. I hope the sales pitch (this is the only radio you'll ever need - is true). The track is look ar There is , so i'ii have some with that mill.

The other track, is longer, it has two jumps about 1.5 feet high each. But you can't park ur car right next to it. You have to cart ur gear about 60 meters. I don't feel comfortable leaving my gear alone to get the second lot of luggage.

I'm waiting for the delivery from Singapore. Any guys that want really good deals, search HobbyBug in Singapore. Also, another hobby shop that is big on cars is Waigo Hobby's in Honk Kong. Speak to Jimmy So, he's cool.

But you guys in the US have Tower, which is pretty good on price, don't know about service. I know that i use Tower information to guage around about the best price achievable for an item.

Here in Australia our currency is going psycho, so its really a good time for us in Aus to buy. Makes it almost 50% cheaper than the hobby shops.

I'm into heli;s as well, so dounble the price of those and its enough to go to the Family Court.

I still need a starter box. Any tips there.

Get the wide deck OFNA starter box. Blue with the chrome lid. WORKS AWESOME for the Kyosho or any 8th scale buggy for that matter. Just make sure you get a 12v gel cel. Yes, they are heavier but last longer and can be recharged just the same.

ill second that - the one with the single 12v motor - the dual 550 motor ones suck for 1/8 scale ( I lived and learned that one :( )
