After a couple of bumps on the road, I’m slowly getting back to normal.
Happy Hollidays everybody.
Anyhoo, I’m in between the 1/18 apex or the CR-18P V3. The one thing the t hunter has over everything else is the counter rotating driveshafts. I HATE torque twist, which is the reason I’m giving up on my trx4m rigs, no matter how much money I pour into them, they still torque twist.
Does the apex have any torque twist issues?

Happy holidays!

I haven't noticed any torque twist myself.
My feeling is if there was some present it is mitigated by the portals gear reduction.

Hope any future bumps in the road are for your crawlers to conquer, and not life in general. I haven't noticed any torque twist in my Apex but I haven't played with it is a couple of weeks so I may just have not noticed. I can tell you, if there is any, it's no where nearly as bad as the SCX24's or TRX4M's, those I really notice it in.

Would portal axles on 4M reduce or eliminate torque twist?
I personally haven't been able to try. I ordered the set from Treal but only the rear came in, front is back ordered.

I added two preload clips to the rear passenger side and that helped eliminate enough torque twist for me.

I made adjustments on stock shocks a year ago. Didnt get rid of much of twist. Swictched to injora longer shocks and went with thickest spring and thicker oil in right rear. Got rid of most, but still have twist. Have a set of portals but haven't had chance to install yet

Well, on a trade for something else I ended up with this thing, I’ve been wanting one for a while now. The thing is that the previous owner put some big tires on it and trimmed the body plus got rid of the bumper. I love it!! It just makes me question myself for getting so many trx4m rigs.
Would hobbyplus would be my option for a replacement or does anything injora would fit. Any help would be appreciated.
