HW Max 6 G2 - Replacement Fan

Hi all,

My Max 6 G2 fan was DOA. Never run it, but it doesn't turn on when I plug in the system. It looks like the stock fan is a Cyclone 3510 CL, but I've not been able to find a match online. Has anybody had to replace their Max 6's fan, and if so, what did you use? Thanks in advance!

Was just about to say that. Although it should to a self test on power up and turn back off, and won't click on until the esc temp reaches a certain temp, (per esc settings)

There are no fan ESC settings for this. It's locked out. Ask me how I know

Ah. So the fan settings must be only the higher end xerun escs. gotcha.

Most Max6 G2 owners replace the fan with a Rocket 35mm & run it into the receiver in an open port to run when powered on & throw away the supplied one to bypass the temp lock. Stocker will come on after running & the ESC heats up. Temp is unknown. Some say 150, some say 170. I am not privy to this information.

My Max6 with piggyback 35mm Rocket over caps & stock fan. Rocket runs full time & lowered ESC temps 15° & stocker will run & turn on/off. ESC stays cool during extreme bashing & 90° outside temps.

Yeah man! Run it & see what you think! It takes a lot of hard pulls & bashing to get it hot hot but the fan will run. Let us know & post some pics!!
