Hey guys-

My evo 3 just plain sucks for me, so I was thinking about converting it to the MT. what parts do I need?

Thanks.

This is probably going to cost a bit of money, you might be better off selling the Evo 3, and buying a MT2.

You would need a new chassis (I think), new driveshafts, new shocks, new suspension arms upper and lower, new wheels and tires, a bumper, and if you are planning to go 18SS style you would need some new C-hubs and uprights, and you would probably want a stronger steering servo. I think that should pretty much cover it but there might be something I'm missing.

Oh yea, and you would need a slipper clutch set up instead of the 2 speed.

check out my conversion thread.... it's at a stand still till I can figure the driveshafts, my LHS is lookin for me.... he said I'll have to use different diff yolks cause any cvd with that small of an end will not be strong enough....
