Yesterday I was watching a group of youngsters and not quite so young drivers bashing. Every one of them was lowering their antennas wrong.

Do not just put your hand on the top and push down. Sooner them later you will bend the tip. Its not a question of if it will bend its a question of when......

Using your thumb and first finger, pinch the BOTTOM section and slide it down until its fully collapsed. Follow the same procedure with the next section. Do this until your antenna is fully collapsed.

It take an additional 4-5 seconds and a bit of thought to do this but is well worth training yourself to do it properly. Not only will it save you from calling it quits early if you brake your antenna, it will save you money.

I always just shove it up against the ground works very well for me lol :jk: I have been trying to get my boys to use the method of one section at a time. All of there walmart Rc,s have broken atennas.

Very true.

I also hate it when people grab my remote by the antenna, that also results in bending...

i hate it when people leave there anntena up and LAY THE ReMOTE ON THE GROUND its just waiting to get stepped on..and bent..

Me too, because you know how is going to get blamed, not the one how left it on the ground but the poor guy who stepped on it.

when it comes down to it i believe even with the proper means of lowering the antenna i sometimes still find my self taking my hand then slowly pushing down on the top i dont know why i guess it just became a habbit overtime. But i guess that why i have spare antennas just in case they break or bend terribly

With my sensor there is no need to put it up or down...I love this thing!

lol yea my friend the other day was pushing my antenna form the top, i was yellling at him, snatched it ot of his hands and asked him if he was an idoit, he gave me a look like why am i yelling at him , lol
