how to keep wheels nuts on tight

every once in awhile my wheel nuts come loose from being completely tight i want to know y they r falling off they are not stripped and how to keep them on better any ideas also who makes shockwears

You can apply a drop of locktight to the threads. It should last you for awhile and will keep the nut from loosening.

yes, just use blue locktite, and not red ....

I know you own a lightning. Just so you know, I lost one wheel nut on my Lightning Pro before I realized the factory didn't tighten them down very good. Even since, I just make damn sure that the wheel nuts are really really tight. I haven't lost a wheel nut since.

Ya i just check them before every race - I'd hate to dnf because of a loose wheel nut.

I ALWAYS check them before EVERY tank. It just becomes habbit after a while. Nothing worse than a wheel coming off mid-air and looking for the nut for an hour to follow.

ya id hate to lose a nut, only having 2 of em - wouldnt mind having kids someday ya know :trashed: So when in doubt check your nuts

I lost a wheel nut in the grass off my savage. That was bad I spent like 30 min looking for it then we busted out a metal detector that we had at our house and we found that thing in like 30 seconds.

next time i have to do the metal detector thing because my dad has a sweet hitec one I'm just scrared that one day I'm gonna be bashing and my wheel is gonna fly off and I'm gonna a break a bunch of things

true dat but my dog can. he finds anything plastic and he brings it to me he doesn't tear it up either but the said thing is i dont know wear he finds it all
