HOW-TO: Convert WMV Movies

I can't take credit for this how-to. I found it here:

in this particular excersize, they are converting to avi files. i stopped when I had an mpg file. if you look at the encoder, it has a lot of stuff to how big you want to make the resulting mpg.

anyway, i had to download some software (all of it legit and free to use). I had a problem getting the WAV filter thing installed. i managed to find it though.

I've packaged up all the stuff I had to download into this zip file:

ps run that install.bat only if you don't have WAV Dist installed already.

Thanks for the info Rob. I was just going to send you a PM on how you converted it. If I had some room I would help you host it but my hosting company only gives me 10Mbs for free. If I want extra I need to pay for it.
