How to charge this battery?

It is a 1200 mah pack
First charge should be slow so go for 1 amp till it peaks. (Overnight)

The normal charge rate is C/10 or the capacity of the pack divided by 10. For example, a 1200maH pack should be charged at 1200/10 or 120ma, 1.2 amps This is known as the overnight rate. Although, ideally, a pack should be fully charged in 10 hours, due to inefficiency, it will probably take between 12 and 15 hours.

I did for 1.2 amps and set it to charge 1200 mah. It counted upward and a couple hours later it was at 1300mah. Should i charge it somemore.

If your charger has a peak monitor let it ride till she peaks.

The raring on a battery is a minimum rating most of the time they are higher.

If the battery get's hot, you're shortening it's life. Warm is fine as long as you can keep your hand on it and not feel like you're gonna burn yourself.

Just as Eddy said, let the cahrger peak the battery. When it's peaked, it should go into a trickle mode. I may be wrong about that, since I don't have a superbrain. Read the manual and see what happens when the rx is fully peaked. Some have an auto shutoff, others will go into a trickle mode.

I agree with the others, charge at around 1 to 1.2 amps and until the peak is reached, just don't let the cells get too hot.

I have the same charger (pro version) and pack, set the delta peak to 15 mv and charge until it stops. If you set the delta peak to 25 mv the pack will get very hot when it peaks. I get over three hours of run time with my pack and I am using high torque servos.

I can't set it to 120 mahs it counts by i hundred for ex ample it goes 100,200,300,400.....
Also i will charge on 15mv and not 25 and see what i got. The first time it charged for 2 hours and the charger started to beep and said stop. I will have to read the mannual.
