I'm just wondering how many times a week you drive your nitro. I'd like to drive mine more often but once a week is about all I can manage........there is always something that needs to be done. I almost feel guilty, thinking I'm being selfish cause I want to drive it more, but hopefully I'm not the only one. :)

I used to drive it every day, untill i discovered brushless electrics and crawlers. i havent cranked a nitro in about 3 months.

There isn't a week that goes by when I don't drive one of my electrics or fuelie unless I am away from home.

As far as nitro's, I haven't lit one in well over a year and I don't plan to.

For me i've never run it on my own as i know hubby wants to drive it too... so we usually go after dinner once or twice a week.. but he's tired after work and wants to rest so it's more like once a week...rather then twice lol

but once i start using the track regular i will be going on my own as he will still be at work when it opens...

Not very ofton.. I havn't lit up my buggy in like 2 years but only because I don't have an engine for it. Hopefully I'm going to purchase one next month. I drive my T-Maxx more than anything but right now it's down for repairs and hop-ups. I probably only break out any of my vehicles about once a month or so. It'll probably increase as my son gets older.

Once a Week!

I try to drive my nitro at least once a week some weeks I don't get chance other weeks I'll run it everyday.

Being a newbie I'm trying to ignite the bugger every chance I get at the moment. I even used it to round up the cows last weekend. They were very interested in it until some heavy throttle was used. Scared the poop out of them. Saved a lot of running but worried one might turn and tread on it. At the moment giving it a small run every second night.

How often...

I used to drive my Rush evo about twice a week, sold that (sorry I did as it was a fun little runner), got a Firestorm 10T to fix up, run it twice, crashed it once, now have to twiddle my thumbs until the parts arrive..

Oh what fun we have :hehe:

i run the 8IGHT at LEAST once a week at the track (Saturdays) and probably 2-3 nights a week at home.

I ran it everyday when i first got my savage but i don't think I have ran it in 2 weeks. I really hate tuning it lol.

Thats the main reason I'm getting out of nitro, I'm loving electric. Connect battery, run it, go inside, put battery on charger, when it beeps, take it off, go do somthing else.

I LOVE IT.

I havnt drove a nitro (besides breaking on in for a friend) in over a year.. I do however drive my 1/5th scale gasser and crawler at least a couple times a week.

Right now I'm running mine about once to twice a week, weather permitting. usually every Sunday is drive time and once or twice a week after work if it's my early shift and the thunderstorms hold off.

I have to ask, because I think I might be not be doing something I should... Tuning your nitro.. what exactly are you doing and why? I've tuned mine once, when I broke it in. After I run it, I do the after-run treatment and clean the air filter. But I don't do anything else. When I crank it up the next time I might have to tweak the steering a little, but other than that I don't mess with anything. So, I'm curious... What exactly is "tuning" and why is it important to do it?

I tend to get it out once a week and try to run atleast one tank through her. When I first got my nitro I burned through the first gallon pretty damn quick. I would run about 3-4 tanks (sometimes more) through it every night after work.
I did that for the first gallon. I have barely tapped into the second gallon and I have had the Nitro for about 7 weeks now.

I run my GT2 every night with two other friends who have GTs. School parking lot at night is big...throw down some cones and bam! Sometimes we stay till midnight (thats when the lights turn off), but last night we stayed till 930...they got mad when i lapped them!

I run my nitro once or twice a month but my brushless I run pretty much every week end it's just alot easier and less hassal, IMO...
