Interesting how the single people answer this question. =devil

I am single(not married) and have spent well over $2000 on this addiction all together! my GF thinks I am crazy and she is right, crazy about nitro!!

just this year alone??? somewhere around the $3550ish

UM.... two family holidays complete with 5 star hotel accommodation, first class flight tickets, limousine travel to hotel, disneyland passes for 1 week. - That was what i spent in August on r/c.

I don't even want to touch July 03.

Two heli's, three nitro cars, two top of the line radio's. So exciting to receive it, but confession is a bit traumatic, so i try not to think about it.

If you have a wife/GF fella's - a gold bracelet for $300.00 as a present to them will buy you about 2 new nitro cars with top of the line mills.

I wish i were sponsored.

So far 2.5ct diamond earings and a COACH purse have allowed me to get an NTM, Inferno, LD3, tons of replacement parts and hopups, a Micro RS4 & LosiT on order.

I'm prolly going to have to shell out for a fur or an engagement ring before I can get a Savage SS, midsize electric Heli, and two Hyper 8 ports with OSe carbs for the SS and Inferno....

I'm going to be VERY broke.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!! Damn And I thought I was Was Bad..... I've spent about 1K on just one truck in a year, soon to be two trucks (Hopefully) kinda funny I just Spent 120 on shocks and still have the stock engine.

hey those shocks will make a big difference..almsot as much diff as getting a hotter mill! (of course the difference will be in another aspect)

Man....this is the BOMB of a question....the reason I NEVER keep a reciept.... because when you add it all up it'll make ya wanna cry!
So far I've had: HPI RS4 Nitro, Serpent Impulse, T-Maxx, E-Maxx, RC10T3, & an RC10GT. I kind of keep a running total in my head each time I buy things of how much I've spent on each ride. Total I've spent over $5000. But seriously, it was/is all 110% worth it. I've enjoyed every bit of it all.....the "cool factor", the speed, the hanging out and bashing/racing with friends that enjoy the same hobby, the fact that most of the time I get so engulfed in what I'm doing I forget about everything else, the relaxation, the frustration, and just the overall FUN of it. I'd do it all over again!

Well, I just bought an RTR 10 GT and with the upgrades to make it factory Plus. And the fact that I am roar racing next year. Which means new engine, controller, + lots of hop-ups. I'm looking at about $1500 just on truck this year alone. That’s not including field and accessories.

Its dangerous when you start adding things up. I tried that with my truck and was so deoressed of having $15k in less than a year I decided to sell it. Now I have a new "cheaper" hobby. I bought my first buggy used. I got it Wednesday and have about $700 in it already! So much for the cheap aspect!

Yeah I think I am going to have to revise my total for spent this year to about $2000.00 with the addition of my new savage. Really sad part for me is that I know I am going to have to upgrade that damn savage with new engine and all the trimmings. I just know it is not going to keep me happy for long. Oh well what'cha gonna do.

Well I sold out all my R/C stuff last year and getting back into it now....With a new aspect for it of course. I know I wont be spending as much money on it for sure. When I sold out last year I had almost $8,000 in R/C. Now my wife is Pregnant and I'm wanting just something to tinker arround with I'm looking at the Mini-T and not dropping more than $500. for play of course.

so far I've spent way over 2000 bucks ... i started nitro cars in december about a month ago ... sad aint it ? and I'm in college

You can't put a price on a good time my friends! I really hate to even think about this question. RC cars have been the mainstay, although there was a period that I was involved with aircraft for about 10 years, helicopters for 5, ahhh forget it!

wow, I am pretty sure I left out some things but it added up to about $1,600!! But then again, that doesn't count the money I got for the things I sold. And I started about 1-2 years ago in this hobby. I dont have a job or get allowance, I think I pull this money out of my a** . LOL. That number kinda scares me...
